Guest guest
It's only frosted Pop Tarts that contain gelatin. The unfrosted ones contain no gelatin, and quite frankly taste better. Try the Blueberry, it's the best! The Apple Cinnamon is good, but the Strawberry is mediocre. An excellent source for information on whether foods contain animal matter is online sites for Muslims who try to eat halal -permitted- foods and not eat haraam -prohibited- foods. The diet allows beef from halal markets, but beef products are not permitted, as there is no way to know if the cow was slaughtered in the prescribed manner. You're on your own for dairy content, though.
Guest guest
Well, that's great to learn, thanks Rhiamom! I'll try the Blueberry ones, then. I have, come to think of it, seen some Organic Poptarts...but will have to check the dairy content, as you say. I appreciate the info about the halal site and will look for one of those.
