Guest guest
I bake for the librarians, Mom's doctors, coworkers, the dentist, my ex's job, take sliced quick breads to my girlfriends new age shop for customers, the little girl next door, freeze some for myself and even mail cookies to a few little boys that love them. Send some up to my girlfriend in Alaska that's out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by snow. Lately I haven't had time to do as much as I'd like in the kitchen. Guest guest
I do the same sort of thing <VBG>. I also like to give to our church secretary, overworked and undersung kids' Bible class teachers, and the like. I haven't been able to do anything like I normally do yet, because all my baking stuff is still in Florida. Hubby's last paycheck from his last job was delayed and that in turn has delayed us getting our furniture up here. We've got rented furniture but you can't rent baking pans, etc! lol. I have my KitchenAid and that's about it. I insisted it come along, and we thought the baking box came too but it got left behind accidentally. Sooo...we're shooting for having the furniture (also my piano which I am going thru withdrawals not having) moved up here the middle of December. Cuttin' it close for taping Christmas music for neighbors, friends far away and shut-ins, as well as baked goods for same! but can't be helped...sigh...
