I don't know what a turnip is. funny moments.

So, a friend of mine told me to try turnip fries. I thought it would be a

good idea, since the theme here lately is trying something new. I went to

the produce section, and there was a big bin that said " turnips: 4 / $1.00

 

 

 

I snapped up four, and some soy nog.YUM!

 

 

 

When the cashier rang them up, they came up as beets. I thought it was odd,

but the price was the same, so I didn't mention anything. Then I got to the

car and looked at my " turnips " and they all had stickers on them that said

" beets. "

 

 

 

I had no idea what a beet, nor a turnip looked like. I feel like an idiot.

Lol.

 

 

 

Do y'all have any vegetarian mishaps? Or any idea how to eat beets?
