J Lyn, take heart dear candycornlovin'-girl! *lol*

There is a brand out there that is geletin free.

Brachs has geletin in them, but if you can find

a bag of Farley brand candy corns, they don't

have any geletin in them last i checked. That is

always a disclaimer " last i checked " ... read the label

though each time because manufacturers change

like the weather, and usually not for the better. ;)

Mel, thanks for sharing that great recipe for lentil-balls.

i saved it in my " to-try-very-soon " folder! :)

Chanda, there's no lasses like mo-lasses. *lol*

i just love that stuff, too. :)

Before i knew how healthy it was i would only use it

in recipes that called for it and 1 jar would last a year.

Not anymore! i have to restock that pantry staple

quite often. In fact, i'm out right now! Ahhhh!

Also, if you can find sucanat try that. It is a wonderful

sweetener and has a nice molassesy flavor.

I saw the lovely arch

Of rainbow span the sky,

The gold sun burning

As the rain swept by.
