Hi, me again with a bulk reply post. *lol*

Hi rhiamom. Sucanat gets my vote for best sugar.

i love putting a spoonful of it in my herbal teas.

Really good in a hot mug of roastaroma or mountain

chai by celestial seasonings. :)

Gayle, i like the sounds of the recipe you posted

for tvp-balls. i bet they have a nice almost sausage-

like flavor with the sage and fennel?

Another " ball " recipe on my must-try-soon list!

LOL@ Donna and her hippy pals that forget their

deodorant and think it is no biggie. Just pickin' on

ya, but i know some hippy folks that don't do the

deodorant and don't think they smell funky... but

they really do! hehehe

*i'm a stinky patchouli-hippy gal* ;)

Anne, i noticed in your post about the mushroom

gravy that you said you made veggie sausages and

veggie chicken cutlets. Do you have a recipe for these

that you like?

Actually, i really need a good recipe for homemade

vegetarian chicken nuggets. i have a new vegetarian

mom of 5 kids that needs some help and can't afford

to buy the boxed brands because for the amount her

kids eat it would be outrageous.

Hi Debra. i have seen the agave nectar but haven't

tried any yet. i hear it is a lot like honey in flavor...

except maybe a bit less sweet. Is that about right?

i will have to try it on your recommendation though!

Thanks. :)

Chanda, i bet they will like the whole wheat tortillas;

especially if you make them as quesadillas as you

described in your recipe. They might not even notice,

but just think you browned them a bit more on the

griddle. *lol*

Anne, right-on, girl! Homeschooled kids typically

have really good study habits and can thrive when

they are put back into public school because of that.

My daughter wanted to go back to public school this

year after being homeschooled, and her report card

this quarter was all A's.... and the teachers could not

say enough good about her positive attitude in class.

i am still homeschooling my son this year; he's 12. :)

Pat!!! i love the term " frogmarched " i have never

heard it before. What a riot. i had to look it up in my

dictionary, but it must be a Canadianism, eh?

Too cool!

So dull and dark are the November days.

The lazy mist high up the evening curled,

And now the morn quite hides in smoke and haze;

The place we occupy seems all the world.

Yes:) Agave nectar is similar to honey - but not as sweet nor as

thick - it almost reminds me of sucking on the nectar of honeysuckle

blossoms!
