Guest guest
I agree with you totally! For those interested, " The Higher Taste " is usually available free at all ISKCON Hare Krishna Temples. It's nice to leave a donation to cover our costs, but it isn't required:) Also, something my Mother-in-Law told us about - which made my husband switch to totally veggie from pesce-veg...cruise ships. They dump EVERYTHING into our oceans!!!!!!!!!!!!! Human waste, chemicals (most of which are photo-processing chemicals), garbage - you name it - they dump it. ICKKKK!!! Makes me wonder about seaweed...and I LOVE seaweed:( , purplepassion <thelilacflower> wrote: > > Those are two books that I think everyone should read. Guest guest
Oh yeah, Fast Food Nation is what realllly got me started thinking about all the garbage I had been eating. And toward the path of vegetarianism. I quoted a few things out of it to my then-meat and taters husband and he got almost physically sick. But then as he put it, " I turned off my heart and went back to my belly " ,,,lol...until these last three months or so. Fast Food Nation cannot HELP but make you think...and feel...
