Guest guest
Anne, congrats on your kids. That is fantastic news. As far as support becoming a vegetarian, you have all of us. Now that's a good thing. I took 20 years of my 25 years being a vegetarian of verbal abuse from my brother-in-law and sister too. Now they are both vegetarians for the past almost 5 yrs. They are now trying to convert everyone they know...LOL Hang in there. It's worth is. Donna jandemommy <jandemommy wrote: --- let's just say stubborn would be putting it mildly : ). it's her way all the way. the ONLY thing she will eat of mine is homemade bread and cheesecake--all else, no. I think her problem is if she tries it--she might ACTUALLY like it and then it would be admitting she was wrong which won't likely ever happen : ). so I am literally on my own here with veggie. I might be able to convert 1 sister but other sister is an exact clone of my mom and might even be pickier yet : ). but it's OK--I have developed " deafness " when it comes to criticism of any sort that isn't merited from either side. it just rolls off : ). I was at least slightly vindicated this past week with kids : ). we had report cards and parent/teacher conferences and she had insisted the kids wouldn't be able to handle " regular " school having been homeschooled their entire lives. kids both got straight A's and our son who is mildly autistic even had glowing reports of performing outside of a rigid special education program the public school insisted he needed. so to all homeschool moms--it does work despite what the naysayers say : ). take care : )..................
