You know I bought the Veat chik breast and it looked like one of those mini rock

cornish game hens when I took it from the package. Really gave me the creeps

but it did cook up good with sauted pineapple and soy sauce, waterchenuts topped

over rice.

full of mock meat dishes and although I enjoy the dishes, I don't really

think of what I'm eating as being like the meat it's supposed to be like. I

because I like the way they taste, not because they remind me of meat. But

maybe those types of dishes are good for people trying to wean themselves

off of meat.

I'm definitely an all or nothing person : ). I turned my back on

meat overnight and that was it : ). I wasn't exactly sure what seitan

was supposed to look like since it doesn't exist here and not many

meat subs do. I think if I would have known the end result, I might

not have made it. my omni days are still very fresh in my head and

anything that appears to be a part of it gives me the creeps : ). Tofu

doesn't bother me at all. I like vegan Boca burgers but every now and

then they make me squeamish but hopefully as more time passes I won't

see meat subs as " subs " if that makes any sense. take care : )...
