It comes in a round plastic container like margarine or cottage. You can get it very inexpensive at the Asian store also. I can give you good miso soup recipes. However, recently dh discovered that there is an Earth Farms in Columbia, about an hour and a half down the road from us. As well, there is an online/brick & mortar " 14 Carrots " all natural store (vegetarian, no meat!) in Lexington, SC. I plan to order from them some...
