Guest guest
HI Tannis! I'm a home-schooling mom of two (9 & 7 ) and we've been vegetarian for 12 years... vegan for 3... the kids have never had meat. When you realize how much hidden protein is in your food, you will be able to relax. =) Just check labels.. and if you don't have a label, (for things like fresh foods or whatever.. ) check at www.nutritiondata.com where you can type in a food and see just what a label would look like.. how much protein, calcium.. et cetera! =) what kinds of foods do you and your family eat? WHat are your daughter's favorites? Welcome to the group! =) Jenni On Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at 10:57 PM, tannisraymond wrote: > Hello! > > I've been lurking for maybe a couple of weeks, although I could have > lost > track of time. Guest guest
Hi Jenni, So nice to meet another homeschooler. I'm going to bookmark that site you gave, I think it'll help me relax a bit. As far as my daughter's favorite food, she would really still eat meat. Yesterday she gobbled up way to much meat at my sister's. She does love fruit but is now already sick of apples.
