I spent 4 years in Angeles City, and I do miss lumpia and pancit. I would absolutely love to get a pancit recipe as well as banana and vegetable lumpia recipes. wow! you did? when was this? banana lumpia - you mean " turon " ? i love that!!! sige, i'll post one later. > A recipe for a sinigang would be interesting, if you have one, but the tamarind might be hard to get here in the US. I am also looking for the recipe for a dessert soup using pumpkin and coconut milk. you know, of course, that we have those ready-made sinigang mixes. you probably have those there? pumpkin and coconut milk - are you sure it's dessert? or a main dish? you know how fond we are of coconut milk... ;-) or maybe you're talking about " ginataang bola- bola " ? that's where you have where you have coconut milk, yams, and those balls made of rice flour (sometimes with sago)? -soleil

I actually had this soup in Thailand, not the Philippines, but it was definitely a dessert. It was served as the dessert of a long dinner. No balls of anything cooked in it, just a smooth, creamy, sweet soup.
