Guest guest Posted October 25, 2005 Report Share Posted October 25, 2005 I also have a Swedish potato & flour dumplig that I haven't posted if you are interested...Donna Soup Dumplings2 cups flour1 tablsp baking powder1 cup milk1/2 tsp salt3 tablsp butterIn bowl mix flour, salt and baking powder and set aside.In sauce pan bring butter and milk to a boil and then add to the dryingredients.Stir with a fork or knead just until mixture comes together.Divide dough into 16 small portions. Roll each section into a round ball.Gently lay the formed ball (dumpling) on the surface of your simmering broth.Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Place in a bowl with soup.Serve. If so, do you just mix together whatever veggies you have in the fridge or do you follow a set recipe? I can imagine lots of varieties so can't imagine needing to be restricted by a recipe.
