made with agar agar. How interesting. You are very helpful. Do you

make babingka orn that sweet rice dessert? She used to bring that in

and I don't know how to make it. How about the crunchy bread slices

with baked crispy sugar on top? Thanks! Donna

i'm thinking the dessert she made for you is halo-halo: a mixture of

fruits with shaved ice, milk, nata, and maybe a combination of

custard/ube/ice cream on top? or not?

bibingka/rice cakes:

it isn't loaded on veggies and it's quite simple, but it's ok for

dessert or for snacks:

Bibingka (Sweet Rice Cake)

2 cups granulated sugar

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine

6 eggs

2 cups milk

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cup mochiko (sweet rice flour)

2 tablespoons baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix sugar and melted butter. Add eggs and mix until blended with

sugar mixture. Add milk and vanilla extract. Mix. Add sweet rice

flour and baking powder. Mix well. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and

bake for 35 to 45 minutes.

as for that crunchy bread slices: could you elaborate a little more?

cause that sound like my breakfast. hee hee!

=D
