Guest guest
You're welcome PT. Yes, my family does serve this on New Years Day and we usually have it for a side dish during Thanksgiving also. It's been a hard road trying to break family traditions making greens and black eyed peas in the vegetarian version. Most of my family members used salt pork, ham hocks, etc. I now have over 75% of them eating vegetarian versions and if I bring the dish the other half eats the vegetarian version and they don't mind except one old Uncle that is always looking for the meat. I share a love of greens like Chanda in the group so it's nice to see her recipe versions posted. Your curried soup sounds good, I have that reciped printed up right now.
