Guest guest Posted October 23, 2005 Report Share Posted October 23, 2005 I am doing the dandelion leaves tonight. every recipe I see says to blanch them first and pour that water off to remove bitterness, but wildman Steve says that when this is done you are pouring off a lot of the nutrients with that water. I am gonna try using Lawanna's Collard green recipe (not my chard recipe) for the dandelions because the dandelions are way bitter or so I have heard.
