Guest guest
My nephew worked 3 years as a vets assistant in West LA and there are 2 vets that take in the injured pits. Many have to be put down but a huge majority are saved and end up being adopted. Mo has the gift of calming these dogs and will work now and then if the vet needs him, he's in college now. His first week there he didn't understand the strength and power behind them. He took food into one and when he opened the dog the dog knocked him flat on his back, he said he was terriied, the dog ate his food, licked Mo's face and ran over to lay down. I really don't know what the future of this poor dog will be. They are selling them all over the place here and I know they are bred and end up in the wrong places. My ex's brother has a fantastic one. He got him last year by stopping to help a guy change his flat tire. I know this one has a has a good home. It's a dog with a bad rap. How horrible... -Craige On Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at 09:12 AM, thelilacflower wrote: > > > Here on LA the gang members fight pit bulls and believe me this is > > very common.
