I don't know about Taiwan nowadays but it was going on in the 70's

when my ex was in the military.

It is going on in the Philippines now. A girl here at work can't get

her father to understand it's not humane. She said he and his

brother run an area where they hold these fights and there is a lot

of money to be made in this sport (can you believe they call it a

sport?)

 

Here on LA the gang members fight pit bulls and believe me this is

very common. I have ex in-laws living in Compton and they find the

dogs on the empty lot across from their house almost 3 times a week.
