Hi Matt,

We don't post meat recipes in the files but you asked about making this

vegetarian and if a meat alternative would work or just the beans without the

meat alternative. Please do post it and let's have a look. We will know by the

recipe if TVP or Crumbles would be good or if there's enough beans and spices to

make it without either of those. I'm curious, I love chili too. Just incase

anyone misses this post put a little message stating " how can this be made into

a vegetarian chili.

Smiles and nice seeing your post!

I have been in the mood for some chili lately but it has been verywarm here in

the daytime and not right for eating. maybe when the temp cools down more i will

cook. here is a question for the group:

if i want to make a vegetarian version of my chili should i use a ground meat

alternative or just use all beans? i usually do the chili in a 6 quart crockpot

so price usually gets expensive to make but lasts a long time. i can give the

recipe for how i make it with meat if anyone wants so that a good camparison can

be made but i wont without be asked since this is a vegetarian list.
