Hee hee, thinkin' BS myself. seems to me adding sugar would insure a uniform taste no matter the quality of the pea or bean. don't see what difference it would make with kidney beans but have noticed variation in sweetness in home grown peas. ( they still didn't need no stinkin' sugar ) LOL small poem? rhyme about canned veggies fresh is best, dried 'll do, canned 'll get by just drain and rinse 'em too! *Grin* peace, Angela who I am is fine, it's just this body that's disabled!
