i agree, Denise; i love Quorn brand turkey roll...

funny looking tube of stuff. *lol* But day-am, it is

good.

Last year for Yule i tried Tofurkey and it didn't

agree with me at all. i just saw in my recent issue

of VT that there is an interesting tofu-turkey recipe.

If i am feeling ambitious i might try this one out.

My daughter prefers the Quorn turkey roast to the

real turkey my dh still makes, so i've won one over

to our side! The only bad part is there is less left

over for sandwiches the next day! :)

This year you'll have to make two!

Last year my b-i-l actually tried it, 'cause he was on a high protein,

low fat diet (he's always on some weird kick) and he even liked it.

When we gave him the box to read, he seemed genuinely impressed that

something like that could be made.

 

I just wish they weren't so expensive, it really is a treat for us.
