I did, but thought about not peeling them. Next time I'll try it that way.

I don't usually peel lighter skinned apples but I did notice the red apple skin

turns an ugly shade in breads, etc. I tossed them in lemon juice before cooking

and that doesn't help.

I wondered if anyone else noticed this.
