Guest guest
Here's what I did with my sisters 3 kids. I let them make popcorn balls and trail mix with carob chips and let them dip pretzels in melted white chocolate. That type thing. They had a lot of fun filling up the trick or treaters bags with store bought candy. They had plenty to eat at home since they made their our treats that it wasn't too big of a problem. 2 of the 3 had no interest in eating out of their trick or treat sacks but the 3 one was a garbage disposer so he was hard to control............LOL Yes, send your friends to us, even if they aren't veggies and maybe we can convert them. Thank you for your kind words, we try hard.........Hugs, Donna americanmommy32 <americanmommy32 wrote: I was wondering how to handle dealing with kids going trick or treating and then getting loads of candy they cant eat? Do you take your kids out? Should I just do something fun with them and tell them all that stuff as animal parts in it? They are still trying to cope with the switch to eating better and cutting out just about everything they ate before. Im at a loss on this one could really use some help. Thanks a bunch. Im glad everyone is so nice here and has answered every question I have and then some. This gruop is great I have told my friends to check it out. Guest guest
Thats a great idea my kids love to cook! I have been telling some of my friends what they are really eating and they are starting to have some change of thoughts others I feel may not be listening as well as I like. I was going to plan a dinner and have them come try it out so they can see for their own eyes or mouth what they wont be missing. Hahaha. purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote:Here's what I did with my sisters 3 kids. I let them make popcorn balls and trail mix with carob chips and let them dip pretzels in melted white chocolate.
