Guest guest
Jagermeister has been known to be called an anise (licorice) liqueur (similar to Oozo), but it does have other herbs & spices, too. The liqueur is dark brown and comes in a green bottle, with I believe an elk or reindeer on the label. When I lived in Germany I got a really nasty cold and the people I was visiting sent me to bed with a shot of Jagermeister diluted with a touch of boiling water. I slept very well that night. Most people turn their nose up at it, but I, too, like the flavor. The band Yonder Mountain String Band has a great song about Jagermeister.
