I'm telling you Amy, we Swedes love to eat. I'm so happy everything turned out.

I'll try to find the bean site, better order the next batch so they cook up

faster.

I'll turn you into a Svenska Flicka yet, you got a good start now. Donna

Yup, and it's as awesome as everyone has been saying!!!! A thin

delicately crisp top crust, slightly puffed below, mixing through the

apples... *sigh* :-)

 

I took photos but the camera battery is too low to upload them right

now; I'll have to post them tomorrow. I used 6 apples, because I was

practicing slicing them really thin like I have to do at work (I'm

horribly slow compared to the others there!). I also mixed the apple

slices up with the spice mix, rather than just sprinkling.

 

DH is out at a class, and it will be waiting for him when he gets home

(btw, he *loved* beans) - I think he'll eat more dessert than normal too.
