Give me a sandwich name and I'll file it in the recipe files. It does sound as

good as the italian one, both Yummy!!!. Donna

sandwich reminds me of another sandwich an Italian-American friend introduced me

to many years ago:

Coursely chop mild green peppers and onions. In a small mixing bowl, break one

egg (per sandwich -- these are made one at a time), beat, and then mix in a

small amount (1/2 or 3/4 C.) of the pepper/onion mixture (add a little salt and

pepper at this point). Melt butter (or heat oil) in a small skillet, pour in

the mixture, and cook like a small omelet, turning over when done on first side.

When finished cooking, simply place between two slices of your favorite sandwich

bread. For me, no topping or condiment is necessary for this one, and my friend

never added anything.

Thanks Melody, wherever you are.
