Guest guest
That sounds delish! I don't like syrup much anyway, so I like adding fruit and other much more decadent things to my waffles to " spice " them up. I shouldn't admit I do this, because it sounds like the way a 10-year-old would eat, but one of the best ways I love to enjoy waffles is to make the basic kind and then drop mini choco chips on the batter just before closing the lid. Divine. Even though it sounds like kid food whenever I've made this for guests, there are never any leftovers. Heh. I'll post the waffle recipe tonight along with my favorite soup in the world, which just happens to have squash in it. -Craige ps - Yesterday I had brunch out and ordered stuffed french toast because I'd never had it before and it sounded interesting. It was way too rich for me and I barely ate a third. It was more cream cheese-y filling than the berries I had hoped it would be. There were just a few strawberries sliced on top. I felt gyped!
