I'd like to have a visual to compare to... I'll let you know how this version tastes! =) I was tempted to use maple syrup in place of the sugar, but thought I'd stick closer to the actual recipe (yeah right! ) I couldn't really pour the doughy stuff over the apples, but I did spoon it on.. oh and I had to use whole wheat flour, as that's all I have! LOL How are you feeling DOnna?? My head pain is gone, and now I am just recuperating. as for the appelpaj.. Gwendolyn just said " MMMM that looks good. " and it isn't baked yet! LOL wait till she smells it! LOL DaVID IS going to laugh at me cuz dinner tonight was supposed to be " EASY " since I didn't feel like doing much.. so I made brown rice, and I have corn bread ready to bake,. I'll cook up some tofurky bratwursts and we'll have Appelpaj for dessert.. (how do you pronounce that by the way?)
