That's interesting. I was thinking that the stir fry sauce had a lot to do

with the texture although the purpose of this product is to be able to add it

to those bags or boxes of stuff that say just add meat or chicken. If they

contain any kind of liquid, it just does not work.

I've used the Morningstar nuggets in a salad and that worked fine.

I have never tried the chicken strips in a stir fry,a nd now I won't, LOL, but

they are great this way:

Quick and Easy Buffalo chicken strips

1 package of Morningstar Chicken strips

1 package shake and bake buffalo wings mix or comparable brand, some come with a

baking bag, that is fine.

Follow the directions on the box replacing the strips for the wings, only reduce

cooking time drastically, bake about 20 minutes, maybe even 15, keep your eye on

it, ovens vary.

when done serve with celery and vegetarian bleu cheese dressing.

I've been pretty happy with practically all of Morningstar's products outside

of their new (to me) chik'n strips. The bag states, " just add to your

favorite recipe. " Tried it in a stir fry....shudder. While the taste wasn't

bad, I

found that it got limp and kind of slimy and I just couldn't eat it. It's

definitely not something you could serve to carnivores and have them rave

about

it. LOL I have a bag of their " steak " strips in the freezer also, but am

hestitant to even try them.
