OT grape jelly and the mess

I like grape jam on toast.

One time in my very first apartment I had grape vines growing all around. I went

out and bought ingredients for a concord grape pie, and grap jelly. I picked all

the grapes that were ready, and put them on the kitchen table.

I forget what I had to do, but I cam back in anhour or so later, and to my

horror my kitchen table was literally covered with daddy long legs and other

various spider friends.

I ran out of the apartment screaming (I was 18 years old) and called my husband

on the phone, and had him come home from work to clean it all up because I was

not going in there, LOL.

hugs,

Chanda

My mom cooks those little cocktail weiners in a mixture of yellow mustard and

grape jelly. Thought the sauce would be gross until I tasted it. As a rule,

though, I'm not a fan of grape jelly. Too many peanut butter and grape jelly

sandwiches growing up!

Isn't though?? DH loves those silly little vienna sausages, cooked in

a crock pot with Heinz chili sauce and Bama grape jelly... but he

obviously only gets those when he wants to make them! Luckily, he

doesn't miss it much with the good veggie food he gets instead.
