Guest guest
Amy - you won't need to start weight lifting, because the work your doing is all the weight training you need! You'll be buffed up in no time! I worked at a bakery in Germany over my Spring Break (1990) and it was pretty amazing. After my training they had me work at this one shop in which they would actually have me there opening. Now, who in America would have a foreigner open and close a shop by themselves, when they are brand new and only working there for 5-6 weeks? Anyway, I had to get there early to meet the delivery guy and help him huff the hot kilo loaves of bread into the shop. He gave me these huge gloves to wear and a thick apron. Even with the gloves on I could tell how hot these loaves were! And I had to take these huge sheet pans filled with sweet rolls and other delicacies. The sheets were almost too big for me to hold! So, I can empathize with you! Denise , " Amy " <sandpiperhiker> wrote: > The new job is very hectic, but fun! The sooner the better... but I can say the other gal who's been there about 16 months has great shoulders!! > I worked at a bakery in Germany over my Spring Break (1990) and it > was pretty amazing. <cut for bandwidth> > The sheets were almost too big for me to hold! I think it's so cool when people get to do something in a foriegn country... I'm still flabbergasted that the last stop on the trolley here is Mexico!
