Guest guest Posted October 1, 2005 Report Share Posted October 1, 2005 Vegetarian Doggie Treats2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour1/2 c. powdered dry milk1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. garlic powder6 Tbsp. margarine1 egg-beaten1 tsp. brown sugar1/2 c. ice waterPreheat oven to 350*. Combine flour, milk, salt, garlic, and sugar. Cutin margarine until mixture resembles cornmeal. Mix in egg. Add enoughwater so the mixture will form a ball. Pat out dough 1/2 inch thick withyour fingers on lightly oiled cookie sheet. Cut with doggie bone cutteror cookie cutter of your choice. Bake 25-30 minutes. Dogs go crazy for one of these.
