A Quick Hi Ya and all that stuff - OT

>awwwww! I am partial to beagles! adorable, and

their cat is adorable too!

 

We think they're pretty special - and we love

them to bits. Misha the cat, of course, rules the

house, but he's pretty gracious about letting the

rest of us share it with him (noblesse oblige).

 

The older beagle, Made', is a placid girl with a

heart of gold whose only 'bad' habit (we were

warned she had many, mind you) has turned out to

be helping with the garbage if we leave it out

for her. We appreciate that need to help, so we

are careful not to overburden her with that kind

of responsibility.

 

Our younger girl, Casey, is the one who has taken

on the role of babysitter to Mama. She reminds

me, several times a day, of what I need to do

next (including 'get cookies for little Casey').

If ever I should find my memory getting

unreliable (dog forbid!), Casey would let me know

when it is time to do every little thing -

especially, I'm sure, 'get cookies for little

Casey.'

 

Oh, er, to keep On Topic, those are *vegetarian*

cookies of course!!!

 

Never get me started about my lovely furry

companions! LOL
