Guest guest
When Mom was in the hospital I took all her meals since the dietician didn't have a clue in what to feed her. I was told I couldn't bring food in from the outside. I had them call her doctor. He said, please let Donna feed her Mother since none of us understand a vegan diet so the only thing I allowed them to bring her was a banana. She improved so fast that he let her go home within 6 days and he told me she would be there two weeks since she was so weak. I also gave her the brown rice protein powder and I know that also played a huge part in giving her strength. I am not vegan but she is and I know jhow to prepare her meals. The wonderful thing about Mya (my niece) is she will be a doctor that will understand a vegetarian diet since she is 95% vegetarian. She will be an OB/GYN and said a balanced vegan or vegetarian diet is perfect for a pregnant woman. Good a doctor that will listen!!!!! I've seen so many pregnant women eat nothing but junk fast food and Cokes. I know you are taking such good care of yourself Denise. Donna organic_homestead <organic_homestead wrote: Oh, yeah. I had a guy at my last job in Oregon tell me that your bodyrequires a certain protein that can only be acquired by eating beef. Itold him that was a lot of propaganda from the cattleman'sassociation, which really got him cause his dad is a rancher! Ofcourse, then I tried to ask him about all the people around the worldwho are vegetarians (such as Buddhists) and how they happen to survivewithout the "beef" protein. Of course, he couldn't answer that and Ithink he just mumbled something and changed the subject. I know thatthere is an amino acid that only comes from beef but you won't die ifyou don't get it. And as long as you incorporate legumes and grains inyour diet than you'll be getting complete proteins.Silly people....but you can't argue with them.Denise"Welcome to the jungle we've got fun n' games. We got everything you want, honey we know the names. We are the people that can find whatever you may need.Source: Guns N' Roses "Welcome to the Jungle" for Good Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
