Guest guest
Welcome in. We have lots of recipes for you to pick from and I would say almost all are very fast and easy to prepare and if you have any questions just ask us. The doctors don't really know what causes FM.. My Mother was diagnosed about 5 years ago and she's been a vegan all her 81 years. Now I have noticed her symptoms started after her hysterectomy. She is on no medication for it and the doctors say her diet is perfect for helping her with this disease and keeping it under control. Come on and post us a non-meat recipe. I'll bet you have a good one...........Smiles! DonnaBarbara <babsyjean wrote: Hello everyone, I am new here. My name is Barbara and I am new to vegetarian eating. I have always been a meat and potatoes person and seems like lately the more I ate meat the worse I felt, the more my body would hurt and ache and seemed like my fibromyalgia would always be rearing its ugly aggravating self and my cholesterol has been through the roof.. and I read somewhere that there may be a link between fibromyalgia and all the stuff that is given to farm animals to get them to grow, produce and whatever else.. I have been eating no meats for about 4 days now and of course this is pretty soon to tell any kind of difference but seems like I am not hurting so much in my joints. I am looking forward to learning as I go. I went to the health food store tonight and got myself some Amy's Kitchen frozen dinners and I am gathering recipes. I am looking forward to meeting everyone Take care! Guest guest
For a treat when I want something sweet, I take a hand full of frozen peaches and a splash of flavored peach sparkling water and put it in my blender until smooth and then eat as a type sorbet!
