Hi Denise. This is my 5th pregnancy. I have 4 other children, a daughter who is almost 11 and 3 boys who are 9, almost 7 and 4. This pregnancy is twins. They are identical girls.

My pregnancy hasn't been bad. I was nauseated for quite some time. I think it is because of the multiples. I am still really exhausted. It was like going from my first trimester to my 3rd because I grew so quickly. I am already uncomfortable.

I am not vegetarian yet. I haven't eaten meat in some time because for some reason during this pregnancy I have been unable to eat it. I haven't been a fan of meat in the past, but have been able to tolerate small amounts. So, I don't know if this is permanent or if I will get over it after the pregnancy. I am so offended by meat at this point that I cannot imagine eating it ever again.

I haven't had any cravings. I guess I have really wanted huge salads more than I used to, but nothing real specific.

I am sure I'll be having my babies in January. I can't imagine I'll go much further. My babies are a good 9#'s at full term and if these little ones get about 5 or 6 I think they'll come.

Thanks for the email.

Re: cravings

Hey Elizabeth. Welcome to the group and congrats on your pregnancy. Is

this your first? It is for me and James and we are really excited.

My pregnancy has been great, but I always told myself that I was going

to have a good, healthy and fun pregnancy. I believe that in some

cases mind over matter really does work. Go into something with a

positive attitude and it'll all come out so much better. I did have

about three weeks of (just) nausea, so I pretty much lived off of

bananas and smoothies. And of course the exhaustion had me sleeping

whenever I could. But as soon as I hit tri-2 it was as if I woke up.

I'm eating all my regular meals, experimenting with new ones and doing

somewhat okay staying away from the junk food.

I became a vegetarian about 4 years ago with a few set backs here and

there and every once in a great while I still eat fish. So, I guess

I'm not a real vegetarian, yet. But, I haven't had any me*t cravings,

so that is good!

How about you, Elizabeth? Are you a vegetarian? What types of

cravings, if any, are you having?

How cool to have someone else on this group prego and practically the

same time! They have my due date as Feb 25; but I keep getting this

feeling that I'm going to be early. Maybe that's wishful thinking,

because I don't know too many firsts that don't go past the due date!
