Guest guest
My dad threw a little surprise birthday for my sister's 40th last night. I didn't even know he had invited other people over. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and good timing by the Schwan's guy as my sister bought a bunch of stuff and we had snacky (and fatty) things to eat all evening. Anyway, she bought some pot stickers (which James and I couldn't eat) and she lamented about them not coming with any sauce. So James got up and asked for a bowl and then started asking Tracy if she had this or that and whipped up a delicious sweet/hot sauce. Added a little corn starch, heated it up and set it out for everyone to try. Everyone was totally amazed that he could just ask for a few ingredients and make up a dipping sauce. That's my baby! I love it when he's in the kitchen. Denise
Guest guest
Hee hee, Denise ~ my first thought , upon reading the subject of this message, was that we'd been hit by a spammer... I guess that shows that I get WAY too many stupid sex related junk mail , doesnt it? lol that is wonderful that James did that! A man skilled in the kitchen is quite nice! I'm also impressed with your Dad... sheesh, i've long since given up on the idea that anyone in my family would honor another family member with a surpise bday (let alone REMEMBERING a bday!!!) YAY JAMES!! =) jenni On Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at 10:37 AM, organic_homestead wrote: > My dad threw a little surprise birthday for my sister's 40th last > night.
