Tell James we are waiting for his recipe. Have him put carob chips in the next loaf since you can't have chocolate right now. Thanking James in advance..Donnaorganic_homestead <organic_homestead wrote:

So last night James asked me where I got the soup recipe (the WhiteBean recently posted) and I told him from this group. He asked me if Iever post recipes and told I do everyone once in a while. He thenasked if his molasses bread would be a good candidate and I said, "oh,yes, many people on the list would love the recipe." So, I'm going to get it from him tonight and post it. It's a wonderfulquick bread with molasses, currents and sometimes chocolate chips. Hewas a dear and withheld them this time around as he is acutely awarethat I'm not supposed to eat (much) chocolate right now! Gosh, he'sjust so supportive!!! (being somewhat sarcastic).Anyway, it's a recipe he got from a 1972 Farmers' Almanac and isreally good when fried. Yep, a couple of days later for Sundaybreakfast he cut up some slices and fried in butter. Oh my, it

was divine!Denise"Welcome to the jungle we've got fun n' games. We got everything you want, honey we know the names. We are the people that can find whatever you may need.Source: Guns N' Roses "Welcome to the Jungle"
