Guest guest
We're having leftover " Brown Pasta " ... Jenni - if you care to, maybe you can comeup with a vegan version? I already " vegetarian-ized " it and added the garlic, but am not sure if it's possible to proceed... Brown pasta - rather plain if you forget the fresh pepper, good when you need a simple meal, and one of my husband's (from the " first wife " *lol*) Brown Pasta Cook whole wheat rotini per directions on package and drain. Meanwhile, chop an onion, and mince a bunch of garlic. Soften both in a little bit of olive oil until onions are translucent. Add a bag of soy ground beef, a can of Cream of Mushroom w/Roasted Garlic soup (it's a Campbell's), plus about 2/3 to 1 whole can of milk or soymilk. When heated through, pour over the pasta and sprinkle with lots of freshly ground pepper, plus sea salt to taste. A few shavings of parmesan are optional but tasty for the lacto folks. Now, I admit, I do eat it and enjoy it, but I skip the big chunks of 'shrooms, which I give to DH! :-)
