Guest guest
This is really tasty and gets better yet as the flavors blend. I have no idea where the name came from. I cut it out of a newspaper years ago. "Mean Woman Pasta" 1 lb. pasta shells, penne, ziti, spirals or bow ties 3 cups diced tomatoes 5 cloves of garlic, minced 15 Kalamata olives sliced (they give it the flavor) you can sub black though 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves chopped or cilantro leaves chopped 1/4 cup olive oil 8 to 12 whole pepperoncini peppers (the yellow ones in a jar) cut in thirds Directions: Combine tomatoes, garlic, olives, basil, olive oil and pepperonchini peppers. Stir together and allow to marinate a few hours. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with marinated sauce. *** Note*** Ths nice thing is you can toss the sauce together in the morning and just boil the noodles up for a fast delicious dinner.
