Guest guest
you can use any mushroom for this. I prefer the baby portabella caps. if you are starting with whole mushrooms, destem and use a spoon to loosen the "skin" around the inside and remove the black "gills" peel the "skin" from the top of the cap. 1 package of cream cheese 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon curry powder 1/2 medium onion diced fine black pepper to taste 1 tablespoon butter or margarine melt cream cheese a bit in the microwave, just so that it become soft and workable. sauté onion in the butter, not very long, about 2 minutes. throw that and all ingredients into the cream cheese. stuff your mushroom caps and bake at 300 until the tops turn a little brown. I can't say how long it is depending upon what type of mushroom caps you use, the bigger, the longer it will take, just keep an eye on them the first time and you will get a feel for it. Enjoy!
