Hi, my name's Bron, and I have the second newest veg group...it's the one listed under y'all's <VBG>. Donna sent me over to y'all's group, and so I just joined tonight. I'm a new veg along with my dh; we've been vegging for a bit over three months now. Started doin' it for health's sake, as I am a Type II diabetic and dh is close to hypertension. But dh now says he wouldn't eat meat again for anything because he feels terrific eating veg. As well, now that we've been doin' it awhile, we both (but especially I) are more sensitive to the cruelty practices of farms and such to animals. I'm 47, dh is 43, I'm a native Texan, dh is a native Pennsylvanian. We met online and have been married eight years this past Aug. 24. We've lived in Florida a year and before that Up Nawth, which liked to killed my Southern sensibilities. <g>

Now we are moving to Augusta, GA and can't wait to do so! On the 30th...here we come! Oh, I also have one child, a dd in college in Texas, and two cats, Dixie and Bluebonnet, at home.Hobbies include: quilting (self-taught), playing piano, reading, rubberstamping and cardmaking, cooking and baking (obviously!).Well, that was kind of a long intro, wasn't it? I'm tired, packed a lot today, and when I get tired, I talk more 'n' more. <g>I started a new veg group, as I mentioned above, and it's called "Healthy_And_Tasty". Donna said to say she'd sent me here (which she did), and to send a link to our group. I don't recall the link dealie right off the bat, but if you put in "Healthy_And_Tasty", our group should pop up. We have a picture of mouthwatering vegies. Y'all's froggie is so cute, by the way!We'd love to have y'all come join our group too. A friend and I started it about a week ago, maybe two weeks, and

we have four members thus far. :>) So we have high quality in the low numbers, and that's good--but we'd love to have some or all o' y'all join us.
