Guest guest
Yes Donna, I'd love your recommendations. Thew nearest Barnes and Noble is 1.5 hours away and with gas prices so high I'm trying to cut trips to the city down. My vegan daughter lives in Richmond and I'm visiting her next week. I'll be able to shop for things that will help me with the vegan transition. I get so excited when I get to go to the natural food stores. Doesn't take much to make me happy. LOL I'm going to research what it would take to keep a few chickens here at home. We live on 8 acres so we have room. My dream is to someday have a place to keep some sheep and afeww alpacas so I won't have to feel guilty when I knit with wool. I'd know my critters were happy and loved! Smiling at the thought, Debra
Guest guest
Debra - read " Becoming Vegan: The Complete Guide to Adopting a Healthy Plant-Based Diet " by Davis & Melina... it's less than $20 and the best info you can find on the nutritional aspects, as well as the moral, ethical, & ecological aspects... but mostly for the sound advice about covering all your bases nutrition-wise.
