Guest guest
This recipe came from a box of Strawberry 'N Cream granola, however we have used any granola to make this. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat four 1 1/2 cups Granola 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 tsp baking soda 3/4 cup butter or soy margarine 1 cup strawberry preserves Stir together flour, granola, brown sugar and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Pat 2/3 of the crumbs in the bottom of an ungreased 13" X 9" X 2" baking pan and spread with preserves. Sprinkle remaining crumbs. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. cool on wire rack. Cut into bars. You can also leave the preserves out and sprinkle with chocolate or carob or peanut butter chips.
