Guest guest
I do yoga and meditation but I have used very few videos. I have read books, but the best sources I find are free on the internet. I use background sounds depending upon what I am doing and my mood. Anywhere from Enya and other Celtic music to nature sounds such as thunderstorms, oceans and streams, birds and crickets etc, sometime I use my "noises" CD's, on eis crystal voices which is a guide to using crystal sounds to cleanse the Chakras, and African Voices which is another Chakra tuner but with human voices. If you want I can get them to you, email me privately. I also use scents like incense and crystals too. ) Blessings, Chanda - J Lyn Friday, September 09, 2005 6:49 PM OT-- Yoga and mediation videos Does anyone do yoga or meditation? I am looking for a really good meditation/ relaxation video. However, I am not really into the whole chanting thing. I do have a good yoga video for fat burning ... it's by Ravi Signh (sp?). It's called Fat Burning Yoga. Thanks J Lyn TTP....Time Talent Opportunity... plunge in right NOW! Why live in "I wish I could"? Guest guest
DH & I are going to start taking a yoga class when I find one. Someone recommended vinyasa flow yoga as the best for helping our back issues, so that's what I will look for. I have several DVDs, but I only had the one in my computer bag - Sean Corne Vinyasa Flow, but I got just before we left and haven't even watched it yet. I know I have several Rodney Yee DVDs, and I have his book " Moving Toward Balance " about developing a home practice... in any case, he does have a meditation DVD, and if my experience with his other DVDs is any indication, it's probably pretty good! It's called " Relaxation and Breathing For Meditation " and here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000094J6K/qid=1126638624
