Thanks for the idea... but unfortunately the contract date is the

16th! :-( Dunno how that slipped by my DH!

that's the problem... they usually (well in my experience anyway)

stick to that contract and push it to the very last date possible!

 

still... three more days!!! =)

Yes it was a long time ago it was 14 years. My kids were 4 and 1/2 and 1 and 1/2. I packed a pot in my stuff so I could make mac & cheese for the kids however I didn't pack a collender so I could drain the water. The kids had beds as my husband was here for 2 weeks then came back and we drove out together. So he bought the kids new beds and we rented a matress for the 2 of us to sleep on.

When did you move? Was it a while ago?

We were worrying that our stuff would beat us here, since they put it

on a truck 7 days before we left Jax... but I think with Katrina they

didn't leave? In any case, we've been without pots, pans, BED, for

three weeks now... although the week in the middle was traveling and

we had beds (at family & hotels along the way). My DH says his back

is definitely ready for the bed, vs. our camping mats/sleeping bags on

the floor!
