Guest guest
Amy, I'll bet it would even be good as mounds if you mixed the crumbles in with the mashed potatoes. OK Now I shall change this all around instead of the way I always make it. I'm sure Jenni knows how to make a vegan version too...........LOL DonnaAmy <sandpiperhiker wrote: That reminds me of an old favorite my mom when I was growing up calledJunk In The Oven....Ground beef, topped with tomato sauce, then mashed potatoes & sprinkled with cheese and baked. I make it now with the soy(Morningstar) ground beef crumbles, and it's just as good. My twinsister doesn't like tomato sauce much, so she puts a can of French-cutgreen beans in instead. I've also made it with mashed sweet potatoesinstead of Idaho ones; just added a little curry seasoning to thetomato sauce, and sauted onions & lots of garlic with the soybeef.*comfortfoodhugs*Amy"In the present position of the planets, it's impossible to say;Just when I'll find my course again, with the boulders in my way.I should be rolling down the skyway on my cosmic wheels;Instead of stumbling down this highway on my boots of steel"Source: Cosmic Wheels by Donovan
