Guest guest
Ok now that email tag sounds like a story prompt! I'll have to put it in my writing group LOL. ANyway, just got back from the bead glass. Totally fun! I mean .. fire and legalling burning "melting" stuff! AND you get to use them when they are finished... NOW THAT IS A GOOD TIME!!! Totally cool DUDE! LOL KIDS: I know some of them will eventually appreciate somethign I taught them but in the short term it's a real drag. Ice Cream: Yummy treat after a hard day! J Lyn purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: You're so welcome and it should arrive in a few days. I would really enjoy the glass bead class. Hoping you had fun. You may think you are wasting your time trying to teach the kids but I'll bet you make a positive impact on them and years from now they will say I learned about this or that in your class. For some reason they are a bit immature still trying to put on a show for the others around them. It makes me feel good when one of my nephews or their friends will ask me about something from the past. Example: a book I had told them they should read one day, or something I served them to eat and would I remember the recipe so their Aunt or girlfriend can make it, etc. No, I never saw an email card come across. Want to try it again????? Donna J Lyn <poet_atrabilious wrote: Thanks Donna! I look forward to getting it in the mail! I love real mail. LOL. Monday was somewhat kind. A little depressing however. Nothing big/ major. None of my Advanced English kids write for fun. Long stoy short... I feel like I waste my time at work trying to teach kids. Anyway... my glass bead making class starts in an hour so I am hoping that THAT is fun . I sent a riversong e greetings to the group to thank you, Chanda, and Jenni. Did it ever come through? Guest guest
I'm here looking at the sbject line and thinking.......Humm J Lyn neds to write a book with this title. Sounds fun, doesn't it. We can insert recipes kids love to eat. I wish I could find a class here like the bead class. Do you know I still have all my flower power hippie beads? I have restrung them many times too. (:- ))))) I even have some African trade beads and some handmade beads a friend made me years ago and a few beads my friend in England , he sent me from his old love beads he kept also. I just finished a bowl of Rice Dream ice cream with a chunk of banana bread on top. I agree, Monday night comfort food.LOL DonnaJ Lyn <poet_atrabilious wrote: Ok now that email tag sounds like a story prompt! I'll have to put it in my writing group LOL.
