Guest guest
This is a very nice slaw. Unique flavor, you can toss some crunchy noodles on top too. "Asian Slaw" 1/2 head of a large white, gree, red, savory or your favorite cabbage finely chopped 2 carrots shredded 1/2 cup rice vinegar 3 Tblpns. sesame oil 3 Tblpns. soy sauce 1 Tblpn. sugar 1 Tblspn. ginger, fresh minced or grated 3 Tblspn. toasted sesame seeds 1/2 cup salted peanuts 1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped Note* I use dry roasted cashews instead of peanuts just because I love them and I also add a little chopped onion and one garlic clove minced Place cabbage, carrots, peanuts, sesame seeds and cilantro in a large bowl and set aside. In a small bowl mix vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar and ginger. Mix well or place in a glass jar with a lid and shake well. Pour over salad and toss. Chill and serve.
