Guest guest
Cabbage Au Gratin 1 large head of cabbage 1 cup grated colby or cheddar cheese 1/2 cup of bread crumbs (seasoned or plain) small amount of butter or margarine salt & pepper to taste Wash cabbage, cut into quarters and steam until tender. Drain. Cut slices off quarters and lay in greased baking dish. Sprinkle with salt & pepper, grated cheese and top with breadcrumbs. Dot with butter or margarine. You can make this casserole side dish in large amounts by making it in layers. Bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted and crumbs are browned.
