Question - F*sh oil question amongst other stuff

Hi everyone. I'm really interested in Tai food lately. Actually, any

veggie food. Anyway, husband is at work and I watched Food 911 (just

had satellite installed). The show was about Tai food and how some of

the recipes have f*sh oil in it. What can I use to have the same

effect?

 

Jenni - keep posting your vegan creations, please. My goal is to

eventually go vegan. Baking seems to be the hardest area for me to

give up. I've got a couple of awesome cookie recipes that I can't

seem to part with at this point. . .

 

Donna - you should post a photo of your cookbook area. Are they all

on a shelf?

ahhh Jenn, right up my alley.

I was raised with Thai people, before most Americans knew what Thai food

was, LOL.

A great replacement for the Thai fish sauce, it's sauce not oil really, it's

actually anchovie extract, ewwwww, the replacement for it is soy sauce and

Thai curry paste. You have to be careful with the curry paste too, The brand

I use is in my recipe in our files section under recipes, Asian recipes,

Thai stir fry rice and broccoli.

Any more Thai questions feel free to ask, and I will post some more Thai

recipes in the near future. ya see, when I make stuff I don't measure, so I

can't post now. From now on when I make stuff I am gonna measure so I can

post it )
